Life has thrown a major curveball my way this week. Posting will be sporadic at best, and I will try to keep up with shooting, but no promises made for the immediate future….

Raindrops on….
Posted in Uncategorized on July 6, 2010 by MeganCaladium are some of my favorite plants in the world. In North Carolina we can only grow them as annuals, but I’ve planted them in my garden here in Florida and I’m hoping that they will survive the winter. I didn’t realize until the storm we had after planting that they are directly under the eaves, and thus bear the brunt of all the water overflow from the roof. We’ve had two days of storms, though, and they actually seem to be thriving!

Two today. We went to the field this morning for the first time in ages (we’ve been locked down by the heat during the day).
If you’ve never stood in a pile of fire ants….. don’t. It hurts. A lot.
